PEXTAPE XLPE
Crosslinkable Polyethylene Tape (for Low Voltage Applications )
The tape is typically applied by hand using a 50% overlap and homogenised into a single layer with the indirect application of heat. (Details available upon request).
PEXTAPE XLPE tape is available from stock in a standard range of cable identification colours and is intended to be heat homogenised with the existing XLPE cable covering.
PEXTAPE LSZH
Flame Retardant Zero Halogen cable tapes
These tapes are intended for the splicing of cables sheathed with LSZH Thermoplastic material and to compliment the increasing use of CPR flame retardant cable extrusion materials.
Specific physical and electrical properties of the base extrusion grade material used in the manufacture of these tapes together with the typical method of application are available upon request.
